Well that depends. If you are allowed to call in and esblish a SLIP
connection, then it would be fairly simple. HOWEVER, if you call in and
you get a prompt that lets you login to unix (or other) boxes, then
probably not. What program do you use to call up your unix account?
Just a terminal program like Procomm (telix, qmodem etc) or a special
program give to you by your school?
BTW, SLIP (Serial Line Internet Protocol) allows you to act like your
home computer is really on the NET. Your IP number is the same as the
modem's IP number. Actually, the terminal port's IP that your school's
modem is connected to. Provide us w/ more detail so we can help.

People keep asking this question about a "telnet server". Has anyone looked
into Deskview X from Quarterdeck? That may well have some sort of DOS box
you can telnet to.
